Restylane

Aging, sun exposure, and natural volume loss can all change the way your face looks over time. Restylane® fillers make it easy to refresh your look in a way that feels natural.

We are here to help you find the right treatment for your needs. During a consultation, we will discuss your goals, assess your concerns, and recommend the best options.

What Is Restylane®?

Restylane® is a line of dermal fillers made with hyaluronic acid, a substance that naturally occurs in your skin and helps keep it hydrated and plump. Your skin produces less hyaluronic acid as you get older, which leads to wrinkles and volume loss. Restylane® fillers work by restoring that lost volume and smoothing out lines and creases.

Types of Restylane® Fillers and What They Do

The Restylane® family includes several different fillers for specific areas of the face. Here is what they can do:

  • Restylane®: This filler is great for smoothing moderate to severe wrinkles, such as the lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds). It can also be used to add natural-looking volume to the lips.
  • Restylane® Lyft: If you want a lifted look in your cheeks or midface, this filler is a good option. It can also add volume to the backs of the hands.
  • Restylane® Silk: Designed specifically for the lips, this filler gives a soft fullness while also smoothing fine lines around the mouth.
  • Restylane® Refyne: This filler helps soften laugh lines around the mouth while still allowing for natural facial expressions.
  • Restylane® Defyne: If you have deeper wrinkles or folds, this filler provides more support while still allowing easy facial movements.
  • Restylane® Kysse: A great option for those wanting fuller lips with a flexible feel. It enhances lip shape while keeping the lips looking natural.
  • Restylane® Contour: Specifically made for defining the cheek area while still allowing natural expression.

What to Expect from Restylane® Fillers

Before treatment, you will have a consultation to decide which Restylane® filler is best for you. The treatment itself is quick and usually takes less than an hour. Most people feel little to no discomfort since the fillers contain lidocaine (a numbing agent that helps minimize pain).

After the injections, you might have some mild swelling, redness, or bruising, but this usually fades within a few days. The results are visible almost immediately!

How Long Do Restylane® Fillers Last?

Restylane results typically last between six to 18 months, depending on the treatment area, the specific product used, and how your body metabolizes the filler. Areas with more movement, like the lips, tend to break down the filler faster, while treatments in the cheeks or under-eye area may last longer. A touch-up or maintenance treatment can help extend your results.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Restylane® Fillers?

If you want to smooth wrinkles, add volume, or enhance your lips, Restylane could be a great option. As long as you are healthy and do not have severe allergies or skin infections, you may be a good candidate.

Progress isn’t always just about the number on the scale.
One of our favorite parts of our peptide program is being able to follow each patient’s journey with real, measurable data. Through routine InBody scans, our medical team can monitor changes in body fat, skeletal muscle mass, weight and overall body composition throughout the program.
This patient’s progression is a great example of why we look at the whole picture. From their first InBody scan to their most recent, we’ve been able to watch body fat percentage trend down while skeletal muscle mass has been maintained and improved — all while continuing to work toward their individual goals.
But the numbers are only one part of the journey.
Our peptide program is medically guided and individualized, meaning our providers continue to evaluate progress, review health information, make appropriate adjustments and support each patient throughout the process. There is no one-size-fits-all plan here.
Still progressing. Still supported. Still individualized.

What exactly is the masseter muscle—and why is Botox used there?
The masseter is one of the primary muscles responsible for chewing. It sits along each side of the jaw and can become enlarged or overactive from frequent clenching, teeth grinding, stress, or individual anatomy.
Botox can be carefully injected into this muscle to temporarily reduce excessive muscle activity. Depending on the patient’s needs, this may help:
• Reduce jaw clenching and tension
• Ease muscle soreness and fatigue
• Minimize symptoms associated with teeth grinding
• Gradually create a softer, slimmer-looking jawline
Relief from tension may begin within the first couple of weeks, while visible facial slimming typically develops more gradually as the muscle decreases in size. Results and longevity vary based on muscle strength, metabolism, dosage, and treatment history.
Because the masseter plays an important role in chewing and facial balance, proper assessment and precise placement are essential. During a complimentary consultation, our medical team will evaluate your anatomy, muscle strength, symptoms, and goals to determine whether this treatment is appropriate for you.
